Surrealistic Pillow Lettering
Graphic Design, Illustration, Lettering
Inspired by the powerful lyrics of the 60's psychedelic rock band, Jefferson Airplane's and it's album Surrealistic Pillow (1967), I conceived this low legiblity lettering exercise as a way to challenge the boundaries of legibility. Could this low readability be compensated by the shape of the letters and the history that they tell through it?
Personal project created in 2022.
